Tracking Referrals / Authorisations
If you have Tricare Prime in Okinawa, referrals go through TriCare Overseas Program (TOP).
Your can use the website below or their app called MyCareOverseas to see your past, active, and pending referral status.
If you would like to message your PCM/provider, you need to use Tricare Onlineor MHS Genesis.
Initial
Tricare Prime Authorisation
1. PCM
Meet with your PCM.
Request a referral for Speech / Feeding / OT / or ABA.
PCM sends to referral to Referral Management.
2. Referral Management
Referral Management processes the referral in 2-3 days.
Sends the referral to Tricare.
3. Tricare
Tricare reviews the case and creates an authorization in 3-5 days.
Authorization is sent to the parent and ShisaCare.
4. 2-3 weeks
If everything goes smoothly, we should receive the authorization in 2 weeks from the day you meet your PCM.
5. Start Sessions!
Start sessions when Authorization is received!
